Scarlet Destiny: Sustainable Fashion, Books and Design

Scarlet Destiny is a design-led creative platform exploring fashion, sustainability, culture and self-expression through publishing, editorial content and thoughtfully developed products.
Founded by designer and creative director Vivienne Austin, Scarlet Destiny brings together bold ideas, responsible design and an independent point of view. Its work spans sustainable fashion commentary, creative books and the development of future accessories rooted in craft, longevity and material awareness.
The editorial platform examines the systems reshaping fashion, including circularity, traceability, textile waste, emerging materials, craftsmanship and the cultural shifts influencing how we dress and consume.
Scarlet Destiny Publishing creates design-led books with honesty, imagination and real edge. Its current titles span fashion knowledge, reflective practice and bold typographic colouring.
Across every format, Scarlet Destiny challenges tired conventions and encourages a more thoughtful, expressive and responsible relationship with creativity, fashion and the objects we choose to keep.
Founder & Creative Director
Vivienne Austin
Vivienne Austin is a fashion designer, educator and creative director whose career spans design, product development, retail, mentoring and education.
She designed swimwear for Liberty’s own-brand collection, reworking its iconic Ianthe print into bold, foil-printed pieces, and founded and ran her own fashion and swimwear labels, including Sea Sirens.
Sea Sirens was a luxury swimwear label built around colour psychology, crystal healing and cosmeceutical textiles, expressed through sculptural silhouettes and bold cut-outs.
Her collections were sold internationally through retailers and received extensive editorial coverage. Selected coverage includes British Vogue, ELLE, i-D, The Guardian and the Evening Standard, and she was recognised by WGSN as one to watch.
Alongside her own collections, Vivienne has taught and mentored designers and holds an MA in Fashion Futures from London College of Fashion.
Scarlet Destiny brings the same design judgement, visual discipline and independent point of view developed across her fashion career into publishing.
Its current books span fashion knowledge, reflective practice and bold typographic colouring, united by strong visual direction, intelligent language and real edge.
